SECTION 172 (1) STATEMENT
For the year ended 31 December 2023
The director has regard for their responsibilities as set out in Section 172 (1) of the Companies Act 2006, and make the following disclosure as required by the Companies (Miscellaneous Reporting) Regulations 2018. The long-term sustainability of the Company is at the forefront of decision-making. In making decisions the director confirms that they act in good faith, in a way most likely to promote the success of the Company for the benefit of the members as a whole and taking into consideration:
i) The impact of the Company’s activities on a broad range of stakeholders including our immediate and ultimate shareholders, employees, partners, suppliers, and customers when making decisions
ii) The likely consequences of any decision in the long term
iii) The desirability of the Company maintaining a reputation for high standards of business conduct
iv) The need to act fairly between members of the Company and maintain its commitment to operate with honesty and integrity In particular, the director notes that:
i) The Company conducts on-going financial monitoring and forecasting to ensure decision making can take place in the context of long-term goals
ii) The Company recognises the importance of having regard to the interests of suppliers and customers and fostering long term relationships with such stakeholders, acknowledging a high standard of client service is critical to the continued success of the Company
iii) The Company identifies, assesses and balances risk as part of their decision-making process and recognises the importance of effective engagement with our stakeholders in ensuring the delivery of strategic objectives however, they acknowledge that due to competing priorities, not every decision will result in a positive outcome for all stakeholders
iv) The Company recognises that employees and the Company’s culture are a key component of its success, and the use of employment engagement surveys provide feedback to help management understand employee concerns and values
